S’il y a un risque ou un danger, contactez la police et les pompiers

  • Conduite à tenir
    • Rester calme
    • Restez à distance
    • Ne touchez pas l’animal (risque de stress, blessure ou morsure)
    • N’agissez pas seul
    • Ne tentez pas de le remettre à l’eau
    • Arroser avec prudence
      • ne pas le couvrir
      • ne pas le maintenir sous l’eau
      • ne pas arroser son évent = orifice de la respiration au sommet de la tête
    • Balisez la zone si vous pouvez ~20m autour de l’animal avec voie libre entre l’animal et l’eau , qu’il puisse y retourner seul.

Les phoques n’ont pas impérativement besoin d’être dans l’eau pour survivre. La présence d’un phoque sur une plage est naturelle. N’essayez pas de le remettre à l’eau. Contacter PELAGIS pour s’assurer de la situation.

    • Stay calm
    • Keep your distance
    • Do not touch the animal (risk of stress, injury or biting).
    • Do not act alone
    • Do not try to put it back in the water
    • Water with caution
      • don’t cover it
      • do not hold it under water
    • do not water its blowhole (breathing hole at the top of the head)
    • Mark the area if you can ~20m around the animal with a clear path between the animal and the water so that it can return on its own.
  • Seals do not necessarily need to be in the water to survive.
